(2010-2011). We would enjoy having you visit us this
coming summer! Experience the beauty of the Gull Lake and Brainerd
Area this winter with a Cross Country Ski trip. Come
visit us, put another log on the fire in your wood
burning fireplace and think about all there is to
do! Maybe you will need to think some more while you
warm up in the Sauna, continue thinking in the
Whirlpool or while you swim in the
Indoor Pool. You
will find over 200 miles of groomed and ungroomed
skiing adventure within a short drive of Gull four
Seasons Resort.
Dont have the equipment to ski? That is not a
problem as rental skies, poles, and boots can be
found in both Brainerd and Nisswa.
You may want to start out with a simple trip to the
Northland Arboretum. There you will find 12
kilometers of beginner to moderate rated trails.
These trails are groomed and 5 kilometers of them
are lit every evening until 10:00 PM. The Arboretum
trails take you through the woods and across
meadows, a very scenic choice.
The Pillsbury State Forest is the setting for much
of the Pine Beach Cross Country Ski Trail system.
This trail can take you on some challenging hilly
terrain, but there are also some tamer, flatter
passages. If heading into the Big Woods sounds
like your calling, you may want to try the Cut Lake
Cross Country Ski Trails Located in the Foot Hills
State Forest.
From beginner to seasoned veteran the Brainerd
Vacationland has lots to choose from, and we will
help to get you on the right trail!
If downhill skiing is your thrill you will want to
try Ski Gull. Located across Gull Lake, Ski Gull has
snowmaking, a rope tow and triple chairlift. To add
to the fun a snowboard hill and tubing is available.
Try it out and find out why the Brainerd Lakes Area
has it all this winter!
