One clear cold night, the water will stand still. A glazing of ice will
appear atop the water. Inch by inch, layer by layer, Gull Lake is transformed
into a winter playground!
Make the Brainerd Lakes Vacationland your destination for a winter get away
this year. With over 1000 miles of snowmobile trails groomed locally, and
the ability to connect with adjoining trail systems, the only thing that can
stop this winter pastime is spring itself. Several of the area trails cross
Gull Lake putting Gull Four Seasons Resort in the hub of snowmobiling fun.
Want to fish? Is the water too hard for a boat? Grab your auger, a dipper
and some jigging sticks and head out on top of Gull Lake for some great
winter fishing. During late January Gull Lakes Hole in the Day Bay is the
site of the Brainerd JCs $100,000 fishing extravaganza. This fishing event
always is a lot of fun, with a plenty of fish caught and great prizes
awarded.
The quiet and beauty of the woods, in our winter wonderland provides great
cross country skiing opportunities. With hundreds of miles of groomed
Nordic
ski trails close by, a great skiing adventure is waiting for you.
Ski Gull located across Gull Lake provides the young and the young at heart
with some real downhill skiing fun. Snowboard, tube, downhill ski you can
find it at Ski Gull.
After a day of adventure in our Minnesota winter wonderland, you have earned
